Both my knees used to bend inwards when I did them, don't now though, legs remain nice and straight and I'm much less wobbly now, hurts though!

RB, have u ever thought about orthotics? x
Running in memory of our dear friend Lee, who we lost to Cystic Fibrosis in April this year, he was a true inspiration and we all miss him very much. I hope he is looking down on me when I run... he is either thinking... wow, or you silly billy!!

Why would I need orthotics? There's nothing wrong with my feet and you can't correct my shallow hip sockets by putting orthotics in my shoes????

Nic, I believe orthotics are used for all sorts of mis-alignments and structural probs and can be very beneficial for lots of things. I think Runningbears issue is not fixable with them though, but if you speak to your quack/podiatrist about your problems, I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction?

No worries, they've never been suggested for me, I thought you knew something about them that might be applicable to me but I couldn't work out how, lol.
And as for being a better runner or more experienced, I've done a few races and been running a year, I've learnt a lot about my problems in that year 'cos I've had a few of them and I have a fab running coach who explains everything to me
