You did your best, no-one can ask for more and as for failing at Luton I think that's highly unlikely unless you slip in my puke on the second lap ha ha.
lol eww will try not to slip in your puke! I almost puked today, I hate having to stop suddenly as soon as I cross the line, but I had to as there was a queue and we had to stay in finish position as they wrote our numbers down. I heaved and thought I was going to throw up but luckily managed not to.

Luckily have yet to experience vomiting at the end of a run but all that could change this coming Sunday IF I manage to complete my ultra.... ;)

That feeling is your body's way of telling you that you have given your all, so you should feel especially proud of your achievements. My recent efforts are the opposite sort, where I finish feeling I could eat a horse (or a fish in Clairey's case!)
