Overview

This is going to be My training schedule for my first marathon in London 2010.

My name is Jason and I joined Oldham & Royton Harriers earlier this year (2009) with my Wife Sharon and my daughter Robyn.

My original goal was to train regular and eventually train and run with Sharon.

This goal has already been achieved and so much more.

Pete, our coach is a great inspiration to us both (although on hard speed sessions i might not say the same) and we have already seen our times drop on 10k and half marathon (which i never thought i would be capable of).

At this time 22nd November 2009 my(jason) best times have been for 10k-40.13 and half-1.31.40 which is all down to Pete.

Sharon has seen her 10k come down to 53.23.

Wednesday Speed Work.

Tonights Wednesday tough session consisted of 7.62mile in total.

This was broken down With Pete(coach) Me(jason), Simon and Sarah taking a 7.30 min average run from the track to broadway business park which was about 2.5 mile then speed work of half mile sprints then half mile recovery.

The half mile sprint fasted speed was 2.48 and slowest was 2.53 with recovery at 4.04 pace.

Was still tired from weekend and the runs i have done so far this week, but managed to push through with simon pulling away for a 30 feet lead at the fourth sprint. (well done mate).

enjoyed tonights session and am starting to feel the benifits of all Pete's training and advice over the past year.

With the run on the way back i started to feel stronger for a little sprint at the end 4.50 pace.

Came home and stuffed myself (much needed).

Will go out tomorrow for a recovery run either in the morning first thing or late morning between lessons, lets see how i feel after tonight.
