Today will be remembered as the day that Stevie G was ready for me! Late yesterday evening I received confirmation that the fantastic artist, Wendy Mallas, had completed the painting of Steven Gerrard she has pledged for Lupus UK so tomorrow I will hop in the car and journey up to Manchester to collect the much awaited picture.  Depicting Steven celebrating a goal, the image will be signed by the Liverpool star and auctioned on Hibbsy.com in order to raise funds for Lupus UK.  Please take a look at my photos to see some early production shots of the masterpiece and the final picture before it’s signed.

More good news came in the form of the ‘official shots’ from No. 10 so we can now categorically confirm that we went further than the big black door when we were invited to meet Sarah Brown at her residence where she held a reception for Lupus UK.  Hit the Photos link to see us all vying for Sarah’s attention!
