Met my new running partner last night. I think we have compatible personalities, just need to see whether he runs at the same pace as me. Looking forward to trying different routes and getting a bit of motivation back.
With Hubby's parents coming to stay for the weekend, tonight is my last chance to get organised for the race. I want to pack my bag of things to take: clothes, post-race snack, water, race number, chip, bin bag (in case it rains) etc.
I am very nervous now. I didn't sleep very well last night and I can't seem to relax my shoulders today. I think a session of Tai Chi might be in order tonight if I don't want to end up a complete wreak before race day!
