Well Preston last week was a marker - the end of my "easy" training and the start of my training proper for London. I had a pretty decent weeks training to be honest, finally back at my Pilates classes, 2 sessions on the weights (missed the third because I was enjoying some quality time with my son, 2 short runs before (!) work, a brief tempo run on friday (racing against the setting sun) and a surprisingly quick 9 mile run on Sunday - 8.11 pace when I'd expected it to be around 8:30 - 8:40.
All seemed well but my achilles has been twingy today, probably that extra pace that's done it. Right, need to get off to my bed 'cause I've an early one planned for tomorrow morning, which I will of course be ditching if there is the slightest bit of a grumble from that troubled tendon! Will catch up with all your blogs tomorrow I reckon
