Overview

I'm really sorry, but I've had to withdraw from the race, due to illness.  i've applied to defer my entry until next year.

Good luck to anyone who's still running.

...a friend has just sent me this website.  Click on

http://www.runlondon.com/routefinder, then click on CREATE ROUTE.

You can then type in the postcode of your starting point, and plot your route to measure your run! (anywhere in the UK).  I've just plotted two of mine, and they're spot on!  Saves having to drive round the route to measure it!  You can also save your routes for future reference, or for sharing!!!

So proud!

What a great day!  Obviously, I was enjoying from the sidelines, but I felt really proud of everyone running...and it still managed to bring a tear to my eye...knowing that everyone was running for their own reason, adn that everyone has a story!

I was really jealous at the time, and really wanted to put my running shoes on and join in...but alas, I was still ill!

Andy had a good day too!  he finished in 1hr 23.  not his best, but hey, he managed to beat an Olympic Athlete!!!  if anyone saw the highlights, Andy was the one crossing the line just before James Cracknell!  it was really weird to see him on tv that evening!!

My comeback started this morning!  I got my shoes on and got out there.  only did 20 minutes, but it was nice to have the wind through my hair again!  I'm going to join Andy's running club (probably next week), so I should find it easier to stick with it, and be ready for next year!

Well done everybody!  I'm really proud of you all! xx
