Overview

I'm really sorry, but I've had to withdraw from the race, due to illness.  i've applied to defer my entry until next year.

Good luck to anyone who's still running.

...a friend has just sent me this website.  Click on

http://www.runlondon.com/routefinder, then click on CREATE ROUTE.

You can then type in the postcode of your starting point, and plot your route to measure your run! (anywhere in the UK).  I've just plotted two of mine, and they're spot on!  Saves having to drive round the route to measure it!  You can also save your routes for future reference, or for sharing!!!

I'll be there

I'll definitely be there.....as Andy is racing.....but it's looking like I'll probably do it. I've been out of training for 2 months now, so I'll probably have to walk most of it,as there's not enough time to sort myself out now.  However, with the atmosphere, and the music etc, I shouldn't get too bored, as I trot along!!!  See you there!

Hey... Good for you, I too have been off for a month & will probably end up walking some of the course, but having come this far there is no way i intend to miss out on the experience of my first GNR. So you wont be alone as you "trot along" Just think of the cause you are running for & what a difference you can make by raising cash for a good cause! It's not the winning, or the time it takes, it's the taking part & finishing that counts. x

Really glad you are going to do it. The atmosphere will carry you through. There's no harm in a bit of walking, i still find myself having to have short walks on the longer runs. It' finishing that counts!!
