Overview

I'm really sorry, but I've had to withdraw from the race, due to illness.  i've applied to defer my entry until next year.

Good luck to anyone who's still running.

...a friend has just sent me this website.  Click on

http://www.runlondon.com/routefinder, then click on CREATE ROUTE.

You can then type in the postcode of your starting point, and plot your route to measure your run! (anywhere in the UK).  I've just plotted two of mine, and they're spot on!  Saves having to drive round the route to measure it!  You can also save your routes for future reference, or for sharing!!!

Awful!

I got my kit on....got my drink ready....headed out the door!

But I didn't even get out of the village!  It was awful!  I felt like I was going to be sick!  My heart-rate monitor strap was so annoying, I ended up ripping it off!  I thought "sod this!  go tomorrow!"...turned back, and went home!  I would've carried on if it wasn't for the feeling sick bit!  I don't know what was wrong with me, but running was the last thing I wanted to be doing.

So....looks like I'll be running tomorrow instead!

Listen to your body, you would have felt dreadful after only 1 mile if you felt like this at the start. We all have bad days and wonder 'WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG' tomorrow is another day, hope you are feeling better.

Stay with it Alexis, we all have bad days. Just wait until a good one comes along and you will be on such a high!
